Seamless steel pipe tees are usually made by hydraulic bulging and hot pressing. Hydraulic bulging is a forming process that expands the branch pipe through the axial compensation of metal materials. The process is to use a special hydraulic press to inject liquid into the tube blank with the same diameter as the steel tee and squeeze the tube blank through the synchronous centering movement of the two horizontal side cylinders of the hydraulic press. The tube blank becomes smaller after being squeezed, and the pressure of the liquid in the tube blank increases as the volume of the tube blank decreases. When the pressure required for the expansion of the steel tee branch is reached, the metal material flows along the inner cavity of the mold under the dual action of the side cylinder, and the liquid pressure in the tube blanks and expands the branch pipe.
On the other hand, for steel tees made of seamless steel pipes, there are also seamless steel tees that meet specific standards. The intersection of this steel tee is a circular arc seamless transition, and there is no intersection line in the view.
In the production process, the raw materials must first be inspected at the factory. The steel pipes for seamless steel tees must comply with the provisions of the corresponding steel pipe manufacturing standards and should have a quality certificate from the manufacturing company. Quality inspectors and custodians need to inspect and accept the diameter, wall thickness, and appearance quality of the steel pipes.
