Carbon steel pickling and passivation solution has pickling, rust removal, and passivation functions. A single immersion can complete both pickling and passivation simultaneously, making it simple and convenient. It can replace multiple previous processes, improving work efficiency.
Carbon steel pipe pickling and passivation solution is suitable for pickling and passivation treatment of carbon steel, seamless steel, and ferrous metals (castings, forgings, sheet metal parts, etc.). It can be widely used in machinery manufacturing, the petrochemical industry, the transportation industry, metallurgy, power, textile printing and dyeing industry, the publishing and printing industry, as well as the military industry, mining, power plants, shipbuilding industry, and other industries.
Usage method of carbon steel pipe pickling and passivation solution:
1. If the carbon steel pipe fittings or seamless pipes are heavily contaminated with oil, they should be degreased beforehand.
2. Dilute the pickling and passivation solution undiluted or diluted 1:1, pour it into a PVC tank, PP tank, or even an iron tank for temporary use. Immerse the carbon steel pipe fittings in the tank for 20-30 minutes.
3. After treatment, the carbon steel pipe does not need to be washed with water. It should be air-dried naturally (rust prevention time 3-4 months) and can be stored in a dry environment or painted and installed for use.
Carbon steel pipe pickling and passivation methods:
Carbon steel pipe pickling methods: Currently, two methods are used in construction: tank pickling and internal circulation pickling.
(1) Tank pickling method. The installed carbon steel pipe is disassembled and immersed in a pickling tank. After passing the treatment, it is reinstalled. This method is suitable for short pipes with large diameters, straight pipes, easy disassembly, and small pipeline construction, such as piping in hydraulic devices like pump stations and valve stations, and hydraulic systems with small on-site piping.
(2) Internal circulation pickling method. Hydraulic components are disconnected or removed from the installed hydraulic carbon steel pipe and connected with hoses, pipes, and flushing covers to form a flushing circuit. Acid is pumped into the circuit for circulating pickling. This pickling method is a relatively advanced construction technology in recent years. It has the advantages of fast pickling speed, good effect, simple process, convenient operation, reduced pollution to the human body and environment, reduced labor intensity, shortened pipeline installation period, solved the problem of difficult pickling of long and complex pipelines, and avoided the problem of secondary pollution during assembly, which is easy to occur in tank pickling. It has been widely used in the construction of large hydraulic system pipelines.
