ASTM A53 Gr.B longitudinally welded steel pipe is manufactured in strict accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards. It is constructed from high-quality carbon structural steel through high-frequency longitudinal welding. The weld strength is equivalent to that of the parent material, with a tensile strength of ≥415 MPa and a yield strength of ≥240 MPa. It is widely used in fluid transportation projects in the oil, gas, water, and chemical industries.
To enhance the corrosion resistance of steel pipelines, this product offers an external FBE (fusion-bonded epoxy) anticorrosion treatment. The FBE coating, with a thickness of ≥300 μm, is applied using an electrostatic spray process to evenly adhere the epoxy powder to the steel pipe surface. After high-temperature curing, it forms a dense, continuous protective layer with excellent chemical resistance, making it particularly suitable for use in acidic soils, saline-alkali lands, and marine environments. Third-party testing has confirmed that the FBE anticorrosion layer has achieved adhesion levels of 5 or higher, and its cathodic disbondment resistance meets the SY/T0442 standard. Its service life is over three times longer than that of conventional anticorrosion pipes.
To meet the needs of project installation, both ends of the steel pipe are beveled to API standards at 30°±5°, with a bevel surface roughness of ≤6.3μm, ensuring sufficient fusion during welding and reducing the risk of cracks. Each welded steel pipe is equipped with a high-strength plastic cap to effectively prevent coating wear and impurities from entering the pipe during transportation. The steel pipe body can be customized with printed information such as specifications, model, implementation standards, production batch number, and project identification to facilitate on-site management and traceability.
