Carbon steel pipe fittings are common and essential products in daily industrial projects. How much do you know about the manufacturing industry and the advantages of carbon steel pipe fittings? The basic process of carbon steel pipe fittings is: first, weld a polygonal ring shell with a polygonal cross-section or a polygonal fan-shaped shell with closed ends. After the pressure medium is filled inside, internal pressure is applied. Under the action of internal pressure, the cross-section gradually changes from polygon to circle, and finally becomes a circular ring shell. According to needs, a circular ring shell can be cut into several steel elbows or several steel elbows or other specifications of steel elbows. This process is suitable for manufacturing large steel elbows of any specification with a ratio of the middle diameter of the steel elbow to the inner diameter of the steel elbow greater than 0.05. It is currently the ideal method for manufacturing large pressure-bearing steel elbows.

The advantages of carbon steel pipe fittings are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) No pipe blank is required as raw material, which can save the cost of pipe-making equipment and molds, and can obtain steel elbows of any large diameter and relatively thin wall thickness. 
(2) The blank is a flat plate or a developable curved surface, making cutting simple, ensuring precision, and facilitating assembly and welding.
(3) Due to the above two reasons, the manufacturing cycle can be shortened, significantly reducing production costs. Because no special equipment is required, it is particularly suitable for on-site processing of large steel elbows.
