(1) Before repairing, analyze the causes of defects and propose corresponding repairing measures.
(2) When repair welding is required for repair, the qualified welding process shall be adopted, and the welding shall be carried out by a qualified welder.
(3) When the number of repairs for the same part exceeds 2 times, the repair measures should be re-established, and the repair can be carried out only after the approval of the general technical person in charge of the welding unit.
(4) Re-inspection shall be carried out after repair and shall be recorded in the delivery technical documents together with the repair and inspection records.
(5)
Steel pipelines requiring post-weld heat treatment should be repaired before heat treatment. If the weld is repaired after heat treatment, heat treatment should be performed again after repair.
