We all know the story of Santa Claus in Christmas day as he would fall from the chimney and give gifts for children at that night. It is a cute and warm story. However, I would like to say that thanks for the chimney with the huge SSAW steel pipe made so that the Santa Claus can get in.
We would think several situation:
First, can we use seamless steel pipe as chimney? Of course you can if you are rich. Okay, it is just a joke. We know that seamless steel pipe has a higher cost than other steel pipes so it is not so good and practical when we use it as chimney.
Second, can we use ERW steel pipe or SSAW steel pipe for the chimney? Of course no problem. Actually, ERW steel pipe or SSAW may better than seamless steel pipe. Due to the limit of out diameter for seamless steel pipe and SSAW steel pipe can change the out diameter for chimney so it may good for original materials.
Of course, we would like to use waste steel pipes for chimney in countryside.
