Turkish domestic hot dip galvanizing demand remains weak

Last week Turkey’s hot dip galvanizing demand remained weak, because during Ramadan most buyers to defer purchases. Due to falling in prices since the beginning of May, the plate prices are expected to further decline in order to enhance buyers sold for much-needed resources.
In early June the start of Ramadan, market trading activity remained soft, but after the end of Ramadan is expected to be up slightly. In this case, Turkey’s hot-dip galvanizing market prices with thickness 0.5mm fell US$10/ton.
Current prices for hot-dip galvanizing with thickness of 0.5mm are at US$590~630/ton; the prices with thickness of 1mm are at US$530~560/ton. These prices depend on quality and the differences, the ex-factory price, excluding VAT, for advance payments.
