The installation and use of
spiral welded steel pipes have strict technical requirements. They must be carried out according to the actual situation and following operating procedures to ensure safety and quality. In general use, the following points should be noted regarding spiral welded steel pipes:
First, pre-installation preparation:
The pipe trench must be dug, the pipe well must be constructed, and all necessary spiral welded steel pipes and tools, including welding machines, cutting machines, electric hammers, polishing machines, etc., must be fully prepared. Installation can only begin after these preparations are completed.
Second, installation:
Based on the design drawings and site conditions, prefabricate the pipe supports. Then, punch the pipes according to the design and site conditions. Polish the trench with a polishing machine, and then weld.
Third, quality requirements for spiral welded steel pipes:
1. The deviation for vertical installation of risers should be less than 3 mm per meter, and the deviation for horizontal installation should be less than 1 mm.
2. Branch pipes should not be welded at weld seams, and welding should be avoided at bends.
3. The weld must be straight, the weld seam must be complete, and there must be no burn-through or cracks on the weld seam surface.
