In the current steel market,
3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are increasingly being selected for energy projects. Why are so many projects choosing 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes? The key lies in their durability and high performance. Behind these characteristics lies the coating of the 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe. The coating requirements for 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes include the following three aspects:
(1) The 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe has a coating with good corrosion resistance. When exposed to various corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, salts, industrial wastewater, and chemical atmospheres, it should be relatively stable, not dissolved, swollen, or decomposed by the corrosive media, and should not react chemically with the media to generate new harmful substances.
(2) The 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe has a good anti-seepage coating. When in contact with highly permeable liquid or gaseous media, it should effectively prevent their penetration and erosion of the pipe surface.
(3) The 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe has good adhesion and elasticity: the coating should not peel off due to pipe vibration or slight deformation, and the coating should have a certain mechanical strength.
