Regarding the processing methods of industrial 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes

Update:2025-12-08   View(s):5   Keywords :3PE anti corrosion steel pipe, 3PE steel pipe processing, 3PE steel pipe details
The processing methods of 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are generally divided into two types: spiral wound and circular mold coating. Both consist of a three-layer structure: the first layer is epoxy powder (FBE>100um), the second layer is adhesive (AD) 170-250um, and the third layer is polyethylene (PE) 2.5-3.7mm. In actual operation, the three materials are mixed and fused together, and then processed to firmly bond with the steel pipe to form an excellent anti-corrosion layer. (After this anti-corrosion treatment, it has good corrosion resistance and impact resistance even at low temperatures, and PE has a low water absorption rate (below 0.01%). It also possesses the high strength of epoxy, the low water absorption of PE, and the good flexibility of hot melt adhesive, resulting in high anti-corrosion reliability.) Because of this, 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes have extremely high sealing performance, and long-term operation can greatly save energy, reduce costs, and protect the environment. They have strong corrosion resistance, are easy and quick to install, and have a service life of 30-50 years. Therefore, 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipes are widely used in long-distance transmission pipelines for natural gas, petroleum, chemical, electric power, heating, water supply and drainage, steam heating, hydropower station pressure steel pipes, thermal power generation, water sources, as well as in engineering fields such as piling, bridges, and steel structures.
